Image processing

Images are processed locally in your browser using on-device AI. They are not uploaded to the nobackground application server. The model runs on your device via WebAssembly, so photos you process are not sent to us for background removal.

Model downloads and local storage

Subject mode downloads model and runtime assets from IMG.LY’s asset service. The provider receives ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and browser headers, to deliver those files; your selected image is not sent for processing. The browser can cache model assets and the site shell. Language preferences use a cookie, and consent choices use local storage. Clear site data in your browser to remove these stored settings and caches; a later visit may download the model again.

Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to run the site:

• Usage analytics: Google Analytics receives website events such as page views, locale, and device class according to the consent settings. The Google tag loads when a page opens; denied storage can still allow cookieless consent and measurement requests. Our event parameters do not include image pixels or filenames. Do not put sensitive information in page URLs.
• Contact information: If you email us, we receive whatever you include in that message.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use:

• Essential cookies: remember your language preference and keep the site working.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): measure how the site is used so we can improve it. In the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland these stay off until you consent.
• Advertising cookies (Google AdSense): not requested on the tool, homepage, legal pages, or unpublished articles. If serving is later enabled, they are limited to reviewed articles and, where allowed, personalize advertising. They are not used on the interactive background-removal tool. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland they stay off until you consent.

How to change or withdraw consent

Use Cookie Settings in the footer at any time. If Google’s AdSense Privacy & Messaging certified CMP is active for this site, that control reopens Google’s consent settings. Until then, this site may show its own cookie banner in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. That custom banner is not a Google-certified CMP. You can also clear site data for nobackground.app in your browser.

Roles of third-party services

• Vercel: hosts the website and may process technical request data (such as IP address and user agent) to deliver pages, security, and performance.
• Google Analytics: processes website measurement requests; analytics cookies depend on the consent state. When Google CMP is not managing consent, the default outside the EEA, UK, and Switzerland permits storage unless you choose essential cookies only.
• Google AdSense: may show ads on approved content pages when advertising storage is allowed.
• Google CMP (Privacy & Messaging): when enabled in AdSense, presents a certified consent experience and records advertising and analytics consent.

Contact form

The contact form opens your email application (mailto:) and does not submit form data to the nobackground website server. If you send the message, it is delivered through your email provider to cihattoplutas@gmail.com. Contact information is retained only as necessary to respond.

Data retention

Because images are processed locally, we have no image files to retain. Email you send us is kept only as long as needed to answer you.

Children’s privacy

This service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

Advertising choices and provider information

Ad serving is currently off in this release. If enabled after review, Google and its partners may use advertising cookies based on visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalized advertising in Google My Ad Center and reopen this site’s consent choices using Cookie Settings. Read Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner sites. Other ad providers must be disclosed before they are enabled.
