How to Change Photo Background to Any Color (White, Blue, Black, More)
A simple workflow to remove the original background and add any solid color for e-commerce, profile photos, and ad creatives.

Changing background color is a high-impact edit for product listings, passport photos, and ad creatives. The cleanest method is remove first, then recolor.
Step 1: Create transparent cutout
Upload your photo to nobackground tool and export PNG with transparency.
Step 2: Add target color
In Canva, Figma, or Photoshop, place a color layer behind the transparent subject. For marketplace workflows, white is the safest default. If your source has white spill, use Remove White Background first.
Step 3: Export by destination
- Marketplaces: usually white JPG.
- Ads/social: color variants for A/B testing.
- Design systems: keep transparent PNG master files.
